Felix was born in Mainz, became a pharmacist in Bonn and obtained a MSc in Drug Research in Copenhagen. During his master’s degree as a Lundbeckfonden scholar in the group of David Gloriam, he investigated a novel fusion approach for inactive-state GPCRs to make these elusive membrane proteins accessible for cryo-EM studies.

He joined the Ðikić group in March 2026 as a research scholar. He aims to combine his two passions for structural biology and drug discovery within the field of proximity-inducing drugs. His projects mainly evolve around substrate receptors for the E3-machinery.
