Over coffee, Manuel will share what he learned the hard way and what he would do differently today.

On the table

• Do I have to leave academia to start a company?

• Who owns my research, and how do I get it out of the university?

• When is a method a business, and when is it just a good paper?

Who should join
Researchers thinking about spinning out and early-stage founders. No idea or business plan needed.

The format is informal: short input, lots of room for your questions, good conversations over coffee.
