Napyin Ho
Napyin studied Biochemistry at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. He completed his Bachelor's thesis in the group of Alexander Gottschalk, working on implementing optogenetic tools in C. elegans. He then continued with his Master's studies in Frankfurt. For his Master's thesis, he joined the group of Amparo Acker-Palmer, investigating the AMPAR receptor transport in neurons and the role of VEGF-A in modulating receptor trafficking. In September 2022, Napyin joined the International Max Planck Research School of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysics. Since 2023, he is conducting his Ph.D. in the group of Christian Münch working on mtUPR signaling and apoptosis.
